MISSION: Hope House

We serve the Hope House Group Home for at-risk children and adults with special needs in Marsing, Idaho.

Every summer, we send a team of about 40 men, women, and children (at least six years old) to serve and build relationships with the wonderful Hope House family of almost 60 “kids” and 30 staff. We serve them through running a VBS, a sports camp, construction projects, and an Appreciation Event.

The 2025 team themed everything around the Renaissance, focusing on the rebirth of our hearts in Christ. We had a great time celebrating with a Ren Fair that included turkey legs, corn on the cob, archery, dancing, and so much more. Our goal each year was to come along the Hope House family and provide a week of fun for everyone and respite for the staff. We are all hands on deck to do anything they might need help with along with taking the time to love them through VBS, sports camp, staff appreciation gifts, and a big event that incorporates our theme for the year.

Pray for Hope House

  • Pray for healing and comfort for staff as they lost a longtime staff member recently. 
  • Hope House has ongoing staffing needs, particularly for a middle school teacher and more female staff. Please pray that they will find new staff quickly, and that God will sustain their current staff in the meantime.
  • Pray for the transition period with an interim director and for peace and comfort amidst change
  • Protection for students from significant health issues related to outbreaks. Comfort and support for their mental and emotional needs.
