MISSION: Hope House

We serve the Hope House Group Home for at-risk children and adults with special needs in Marsing, Idaho.

Every summer, we send a team of about 40 men, women, and children (at least six years old) to serve and build relationships with the wonderful Hope House family of almost 60 “kids” and 30 staff. We serve them through running a VBS, a sports camp, construction projects, and an Appreciation Event.

Our team spent June 2024 focusing on how we are all a "Beautiful Mess." We had so much fun focusing on ways that Jesus Christ makes our messy lives into something special and beautiful. We did lots of fun "messy" activities such as hydro painting water bottles, tie-dye shirts, messy games, setting up butterflies so they could be released, painting flower pots and we ended with a dance that would seem to be a "mess" to the outsider. We had a fabulous time with our silent disco mixed with a glow party. The staff and students said it was by far their favorite theme so far. The staff, on countless occasions, told our team how they don't see the kids at Hope House smile and laugh as much as they do when we are there. They always tell us, it's everyone's favorite week of the entire year.

  • Hope House has ongoing staffing needs. Please pray that they will find  new staff quickly, and that God will sustain their current staff in the meantime.
  • Protection for students from significant health issues related to outbreaks. Comfort and support for their mental and emotional needs.
