MISSION: lakota

We build relationships with and serve the Lakota and Dakota people through activities and community service projects in Solen, North Dakota.

Since 1996, we have partnered with the team of missionaries who live and work on the Reservation year-round with the hope of building friendships with Lakota and Dakota people while serving in the community. We now partner with Bismarck Baptist Church and support the team at Good Heart Community Center to make these relationships happen. This summer we will host sports camps and VBS, teach classes in first aid, crochet, knitting, science, and technology, and engage with the community through pickle-ball, horseshoe tournaments, and community dinners.

Pray for Lakota

  • Pray for the community to feel seen and loved by the teams' efforts to serve them in various ways throughout the year.

Provide for the Mission

  • Our team provides ongoing material support for clothing and heating units for the residents of the reservation.
  • We are hosting four holiday events in 2025 (Easter, Fall Festival, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) and provide the meals, games, decor and more!
