lucas & christy lopez

Lucas and Christy serve with Destino, a ministry of Cru ministering to Latino students and their communities. They live in Aurora, CO, with their 4 kids.  Lucas has been with Destino for 20 years and Christy 14 years. They envision movements of students and volunteers all over the city of Denver and the state of Colorado who are pursuing Jesus, gathering in community, and empowered and equipped to take the gospel to their communities and the world. Currently, they serve students on the Auraria campus and Regis University in Denver, and Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction.

Destino is a ministry to and through the Latino community on the college campus. Our mission is to connect Latino and Hispanic youth to God's heart by creating a space for them to respond to the gospel, celebrate their identity and culture, and practically live out the values of God's kingdom.
