
Amber l. Murrell
USAF Chaplain
Ch, Lt Col Amber L. Murrell is the Chaplain of HC Operations, 96th Test Wing, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. She is responsible for implementing the Wing Commander’s comprehensive ministry plan, advising wing leadership on morale, moral, religious and quality of life matters, directing all religious services, leading all Protestant Christian ministries, jand ensuring opportunities for the free exercise of religion for 84K active duty, civilian personnel, military dependents, and retirees in accordance with U.S.C. Title 10 and the 96th Test Wing Commander’s priorities, policies, and directives. In this capacity, Chaplain Murrell leads a team of forty, twenty-eight Air Force Airmen, six general service employees, and six contractors, to ensure Team Eglin are spiritually fit ready warfighters. Her scope of leadership and training extends from the 96th Test Wing to nine tenant wing and wing-equivalent units to include the 33rd Fighter Wing (F-35 Joint Strike Fighter), the Army's 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal, and 37 other associate units including the Army's 6th Ranger Training Battalion and the Space Force's 20th Space Control Squadron.
