widow care

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress..." James 1:27a

Widowhood can feel isolating at times, which is why community is so important. There are ways we can connect and heal through community. This page has information on groups and one-time events.  To receive updates and personal contact please fill out the form below.  You are not alone!

Resources

Never alone widows

Never Alone Widows exists to love the widow well through weekend encounters, national gatherings, local chapters, and online resources. Some of our CCC widows attend a local group in the Denver Metro area. If you are interested in joining us, contact Mandie.

Griefshare

A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
