INTRODUCE: What did you lose or misplace that was of importance to you and required a search to find?
READ: Psalm 139:1, Matthew 10:29-31
WATCH: Video
PRAYER: Begin the time by praying together

DISCUSS:

1. What is God looking for when He searches you?

2. What does it mean to be known by God? What does God know about you?

3. How does it make you feel to be known intimately by someone else?
Consider how you feel about being known intimately by God. How does that differ from how you feel about being known intimately by another person?

4. Lent is a time of introspection. When you look inside yourself and search yourself, what do you see?

5. When we give something up for Lent, that which is revealed by the Holy Spirit, it creates a vacuum in our life. What do you feel the Holy Spirit is leading you to add to your life to fill that vacuum?

6. God is a personal God. He desires to have a relationship with us. How do we know God? How do you let God know you?

PRAY:
Lord, I desire transparency in my life for You search me, so that I can see myself as you see me . Please reveal to me who I really am.

Take time to pray for one person at a time
Invite the Holy Spirit to guide your time
Listen to the Lord for guidance in how to pray for one another….and then pray
